Dennis Carl Wilson (December 4, 1944 – December 28, 1983) was an American musician, singer, and songwriter who co-founded the Beach Boys. He is best remembered as their drummer and as the middle brother of bandmates Brian and Carl Wilson. Dennis was the only true surfer in the Beach Boys, and his personal life exemplified the "California Myth" that the band's early songs often celebrated. He was also known for his brief association with Charles Manson, a cult leader and songwriter later convicted of several murders, and for co-starring in the 1971 film Two-Lane Blacktop.

About probably also needs to mention he's inducted as a Beach Boys member into The Rock 'N' Roll Hall of fame. (band were inducted).

Love him. Haen't worked out how to edit & make the links work in the about/biography box but it needs to mention his solo album Pacific Ocean Blue & role in Two Lane Blacktop (with James Taylor). Also on the album page some albums are bootlegs & the releases "Fawlty Towers - Theme from the TV Series (Dennis Wilson)", "Castles in the Sand", and "Steve Flacks Guitar Heroes III" are by different Dennis Wilson's. Most of the filmography is for films that have Beach Boys songs he has a co-credit on the sound track not ones he appeared or is portrayed in. The Diamond Jubilee shouldn't be listed for Dennis - his brother Brian Wilson performed some Beach Boys songs at it. The list of collaborations seems to be wrong too.
