mr. Turman, I am certain that you do not remember me. Glynn Turman Jr. and I were friends in school (Granada hills high school) and we lived near each other in Los Angeles (just off washington blvd) Mr. Turman, I just wanted to say pretty much what any fan of yours would say, but also a sincere Hello and hope you and your family is well..Personally I think that what you delivered to the Movie "Deep Cover" was the true underpinning of the entire piece. Your performance was beautiful, to say the least. May your light increase.

Biography

Glynn Russell Turman (born January 31, 1947) is an American stage, television, and film actor as well as a writer, director, and producer. He is known for his roles as high school student Leroy "Preach" Jackson in the 1975 coming-of-age film Cooley High, math professor and retired Army colonel Bradford Taylor on the NBC sitcom A Different World, and fictional Baltimore mayor Clarence Royce on the HBO drama series The Wire. Glynn is recently playing Jeremiah Kaan on the Showtime series House of Lies.
