I've been bawling my eyes out since earlier this evening when I read the news....on April 20th, just a few weeks ago, I had sent out a letter to Mr. Cooper with 2 printed photos of him attached, in hopes that he would sign them for me. I'm not sure if my letter got in to his possession at all....I will never know. I just hope for all the peace in the world for him. He lived a long, successful life, and I'm sure he is reunited with his wife, in his well deserved spot in Heaven. God bless this legend and fine actor. Love you lots, Jackie!!

Jackie Cooper and my three brothers and I were all brought into the world in San Francisco by Dr. Carolina Yetter. As a little girl I remember her in-home offices had pictures inscribed to her by Jackie. When Dr. Yetter died, my mother attended the services and I remember her saying there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Jackie Cooper To My Beloved Doctor. Memories from the past.

Jackie Cooper was so cute! It`s funny because as an adult he looked exactly the same! I saw him on TCM and he told a wonderful story about him sitting on Marie Dressler`s lap at the Academy Awards. Both Jackie and Lionel B. were nominated that year and and Lionel won. When Lionel was passing his table he told Jackie that Jackie really deserved the Oscar. Isn`t that sweet?
