She dated Marlon Brando for more than eight years, but went mum on details about him. She did try to make Brando jealous at one point by dating Elvis Presley, whom she called "beautiful but boring. "According to Moreno, the ploy worked, and "it made Marlon cah-razy," which impressed the audience and the hosts. "You are a spicy little thing, Rita Moreno," said Holly Robinson Peete.

Moreno did it all, and currently has an auto-biography “Rita Moreno: Memorias,” which she talks about her experience as a Latina in Hollywood back in the sixties and seventies, and also details very juicy parts about past famous lovers, one being Marlon Brando and the other Elvis Presley. Moreno dished out and dedicated three chapters on past lover, Marlon Brando. Sadly, Moreno and Brando had such a rocky and tumultuous love affair that lasted through two of Brando’s marriages, and a suicide attempt for Moreno in 1961.
The affair was emotionally draining for the petite, fiery actress, that her psychiatrist at the time even told her to end the affair. Moreno admitted years later, she could not get over Brando
