You have the wrong Bill Pawley. Most of the photos are correct but she was not engaged to ACTOR William Pawley, rather to decorated war hero William Pawley, Jr., son of the US ambassador to Brazil. Her Bill Pawley did not die in 1952, but on July 19, 2012. After the studio broke off the Taylor/Pawley match because of the age difference (she was 17, he 28) it took him 25 years to get over the break and finally marry. He was MUCH handsomer than the older actor with whom she has been incorrectly paired in this article.
