Soon afterwards Krissy left George Harrison went to Los Angeles and began an affair with John Lennon (1973), who was married to Yoko Ono. It was Krissy who was with Lennon when a record producer pulled a gun on him. Lennon threw himself over Krissy to shield her. Neither was hurt. On another occasion, both were carried out of Diana Ross`s party after their drinks were spiked.
The liaison was short-lived; Lennon had an irritating habit of addressing Krissy as Pattie, confusing her with Harrison`s wife. Krissy left him for a reunion with Ronnie in New York. There she met Jimmy Page and she and Ronnie flew back home with him. Back in Britain, the Woods would often visit Page at his home in Sussex.
