Playing cop buddies in the Gold Coast-based detective drama, Gray`s character partners up with Jeffery`s, who flees to The Strip after his on-screen marriage crumbles. The pair met during the audition process and began working together when the series started filming in May. Off camera, Jeffery`s own romantic life has read like a soap opera at times, with the actor linked to a string of acting beauties. The leading man has become involved with a few of his female co-stars, including McLeod`s star Michelle Langstone and more recently La Femme Nikita`s Peta Wilson. He has a daughter Ella-Blu to his first wife Melinda Medich. Gray, a former model, headed for Hollywood when her local career floundered, studying naturopathy in Tinseltown in case her showbiz options didn`t pan out. Now she has scored a job and a leading man.
