I used to have a big crush on Barry as a kid, watching the "Doctors'" series on tv. He was such a handsome and talented man but the endearing and tragic thing was he didn't realise it.So sorry to hear about his death. RIP Barry.

I used to see MIND YOUR LANGUAGE in Fiji on tapes 25 years ago, just got hold of the 4 disc set last weekend, and got the shock of my life today. The humour is gone forever, RIP Barry

I believe Barry Evans was not just only a talented actor but he was such a nice looking guy that the viewers would have wished to see him on tv for a long period. I am a big fan of the sitcom mind your language and i believe it was barry evans who contributed the most. It really makes me depress that he is no more. Love you Barry R.I.P

A few days ago, I watched the series Mind Your Language and liked Barry Joseph Evans. Later, when I tried to find some information about him on the internret, I found out that he died which was very shocking and depressing news. I think that Barry was a funny, loveable, brilliant and one of the most memorable actors I have ever known. I still miss you, Barry and wish you all the best. Love you!

Barry evans was one of the finest British actors. I used to see sitom Mind Your Langauage so fondly in my chilhood. One of my friend gave me CD`s of the sitcom and watching it again after 20 years was such a fun. Was browsing to see how the cast looks now after such a long time. I am shocked to read that such a talented actor died under such circumstances. Why British Entertainment Industry coul not use his talent? BYE barry evans RIP

I loved watching old re-runs in the USA! Barry was soooo cute, but he had major emotional issues in real life. Too bad he never came to grips with himself because he was such a talent! Love you Barry! RIP
