Patrice, I have admired you for years and I followed your life. We have a couple things in common and that is both of us are from Kansas and we both were trained by Gertrude Elder-Cavaness in Wichita. My first recital was in 1946 (I was born in 1938) and I believe you left in 1945 perhaps for NY. For the next ten years I stopped by your picture, or at least glance at it, in that long-long hall leading to the dressing room. Elder-Cavaness discussed you with me constantly. I always showed her the pictures I had cut out of movie magazines. I'll never forget Cavaness telling me you slipped while performing in "Starlift." I don't know if that is true or not but that's what she said. The only movie I can't get is "Rocky Mountain" which I first saw in 1950. Hopefully I'll find it some day. You gave me many years of entertainment. I loved your dancing and copied some of your moves. I would love to hear from you if that's possible. Pat

Patrice, if you are so inclined, please e-mail me. I always was very fond of you and wonder what happened between me and my Dad. I`m just curious and hope Arnella is doing well. Fondly

We loved our visit at your home on Port Antonio. You made my husband plantains outside and treated us to a wonderful rum drink. We found you to be very beautiful. Again, thank you.
