Love Patricia

mammyblueFeb 12, 2018

I can't at all the hypocrisy . Yes Patricia knew Gary was married but did Gary knew he was married ? He certainly didn't act like a married man having affairs all over the place before , during and after Patricia for that matter . He was the older and married dude who owned loyalty and respect to his family . Pat didn't own his wife anything , Gary did and frankly there was nothing to break as he never had been faithful t .If by winning you meaning the title of the " wife " yes but if by winning you mean a good husband that doesn't f*ck around on you and respects his marriage than nope . As for whom Cooper really loved that is something no one but him really knows . I think he loved only himself and as far as women go his daughter . Rocky being his legal wife and mother of his child was an extension of that but no that is not true love and neither was the Pat thing . He didn't respect them and without respect there is no love or at least not a healthy type of love most people crave .

So are we suppose to believe that Patricia Neal was innocent ??? I think that Trollop is a better word for her. She new that Gary was married.

JuneJun 3, 2009

Gary Cooper left his wife for Patricia Neal from 1950 - 1954 (approximately) It is rumored he ended relationship with Neal because he started an affair with Grace Kelly, while making High Noon or just prior to it,and simultaneously went back to his wife. Living with his wife and having affair with Kelly sure doesn`t sound like his wife won anything! He was not faithful to her until he discovered he was seriously ill, became a catholic and tried to change his life because he was ill, and eventually died from his illness. Gary Cooper was a great actor and he was a good person, however he had a weakness in his good character, just as all have some weakness in our good characters. His weakness being that he just needed versatility in his love life, he needed to spice things up.
