When it came down to it, Soupy was my favorite children`s t.v. star. I loved white fang. In the early 60`s he made a pie in the face so humorous and entertaining. As a young child,I must have gone through hundreds of cans of whip cream. I had a very understanding mother. We need a modern day Soupy for today`s generation. Thank you Soupy. You`re a big part of my childhood.

Soupy Sales (January 8, 1926 – October 22, 2009) was an American comedian, actor, radio-TV personality and host, and jazz aficionado. He was best known for his local and network children's television show, Lunch with Soupy Sales; a series of comedy sketches frequently ending with Sales receiving a pie in the face, which became his trademark.
