I am the same age as Jeremy and only met once iin Hong Kong whilst |I was there in the RAF and he was with Kurt Jurgens and Sylvia Sims filmy 'Ferry'. Prior to that he, William Simons, Colin Campbell, Janette Scott, and ginger -haired girl Caroline ? were part of my growing up - regular TV actors on BBC children's TV and Jeremy's 'posh' accent gave me an incentive to get rid of my broad Yorkshire and try to get into radio which in the 50's and 60's even got me past the BBC auditions. Looking back those programmes now seem very trite, but they were superb inasmuch as they gave the rest of us an insight into what we might achieve - the Grove Family, Mr Turnip, HL and the rest are still solidly in the mind and will live as long as I do. Pity the internet references seem not to exists!

I thought he had died. I remember him more in the Roman Spring of Mrs Stone.
