Omar and Ximena met during a flight going to Los Angeles from Guadalajara, Mexico in 2008. Ximena was reading a book in English and she noticed that Omar was reading a book in Spanish, she didn`t understand what one of the words in the book she was reading meant. So she asked Omar, he also didn`t know what what the word meant either and they went back to reading their books. Later they saw each other while waiting in the queue line in the immigration office in the Los Angeles airport. They both noticed a poster which was advertising a music festival they were both playing at. Ximena invited him to the gig she was playing at the festival.
