Ray Emery (born September 28, 1982), often nicknamed Razor or Sugar Ray, is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He formerly played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks and the Ottawa Senators of the NHL, and Atlant Moscow Oblast of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Emery led the Ottawa Senators to the Stanley Cup finals in 2007. It was the first appearance of an Ottawa club in the finals since 1927, though they lost to the Anaheim Ducks in five games. Emery is a two-time Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy nominee and finalist being recognized for dedication and perseverance.
