Scott once told a reporter that he didn`t enjoy most dates that he went on. He had a lot of dates.

Before Scott took off for Rome and Paris in 1955, he had to settle with a peskey publicity man, who felt he should have a share of Scott`s earnings, in what amounted to blackmail, if he didn`t get it. He said that he would spill plenty, if Scott took him to court. Eventually, they settled out of court, ruining our chances of hearing about all those less than dignified moments in Scott`s life.

How did Scott treat women? Scott attended the Denise Darcel party for over 200 guests. His date for the evening was actress Patricia Knight. Not long into the evening Scott splashed a glass of champagne in Pat`s face ending their brief romance. Although it didn`t say what brought about this altercation, it is a good guess that Scott was flirting with other women, ignoring Miss Knight. Of course she didn`t like this sort of treatment and complained loudly, prompting Scott to douse her in champagne.

Dorothy Malone was the great love of Scott Brady`s life. Although he dated hundreds of women, no one could take Dorothy` place in his heart.

The great love of Scott`s life was Dorothy Malone. He truly wanted to marry her but she just couldn`t go through with it. I believe this to be the reason for his long life as a batchelor.
