April 9, 2015: Jennie Garth will never forget her 43rd birthday. The actress’s beau David Abrams proposed to the star with a mega-diamond ring to celebrate. And it’s time to take a closer look at her eye-catching bauble.
Garth sported her black diamond ring (which sits on a gold band and looks to be vintage-inspired) while vacationing with Abrams in Tulum, Mexico. The couple, who started dating last fall, celebrated their engagement on the beach, and couldn’t keep their hands off each other during the romantic trip.
“Dave had been working on this for months, and really wanted to plan something special for her around her birthday and make it perfect,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE.

The wedding began at 7 p.m. local time just as the sun was setting. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum's longtime pal and costar Tori Spelling attended along with the friends' Mystery Girls costar Miguel Pinzon and costume designer Erik Rudy. Garth, 43, walked down the aisle by herself as a string quartet played. The bride wore a long-sleeved gown, covered in pink flowers and wore her hair in a low side bun.

Jennie Garth's husband David Abrams has filed for divorce after nearly three years of marriage. Abrams, 36, filed Friday in Los Angeles County citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents obtained by The Blast, which first reported the news. Their date of separation is listed as Aug. 29, 2017.

Jennie Garth and Dave Abrams Call Off Their Divorce: 'They're Very Happy
Less than a year after filing for divorce, Jennie Garth and her husband Dave Abrams have reconciled.
“They have been working hard on their relationship and they’re in a really good place now,” Garth’s rep tells PEOPLE. “They’re very happy.”
Abrams filed a request to dismiss his divorce petition earlier this week, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
Garth, 46, was last seen with Abrams at a Los Angeles Lakers game on Jan. 29.
Abrams, 37, filed for divorce in April.
In June, Garth, 46, filed a response to the divorce filing, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. Their date of separation was listed as Aug. 29, 2017.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 stars also asked the court to terminate Abrams’ ability to request spousal support because he signed a prenuptial agreement just before they got married in July 2015.
The two met in late fall 2014 on a blind date. They got engaged in March 2015 and tied the knot that July at her six-acre ranch home in Los Olivos, California.
“It was unreal,” Garth told PEOPLE at the time. “It was perfect.”
“Things just lined up and I was like, ‘I don’t need it, I don’t want it,’ and there it came,” she added. “He completes me.”
