After three years of dating, popular actor Lee Min-ho and singer Suzy, have gone separate ways.
According to South Korean media outlet Ilgan Sports, it was reported that an alleged insider had broken the news.
“The reasons are personal, and they have remained good friends,” said the insider.
After checking with the artistes themselves, their respective agencies, MYM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment, it was later confirmed the validity of the reports.
Lee’s label said, “They did decide to part ways recently. It is his private life, so we can’t probe much. Please understand.”
Known for not flaunting their relationship, Lee and Suzy, who is also an actress, were said to begin dating in March, 2015.
Apparently Lee, 30, had always had a crush on Suzy, 23, but her agency had respectfully denied his request to meet her.
Lee never stopped pursuing her and eventually they met through mutual friends after which they soon started dating.
The actor, who starred in the popular K-dramas Boys Over Flowers and The Heirs, is serving in the military since last May.
Suzy, a member of the K-Pop girl group Miss A, has acted in the drama series Dream High, Uncontrollably Fond and most recently, While You Were Sleeping.
