Pietro Vichi Domenici (May 7, 1932 – September 13, 2017) was an American attorney and politician from New Mexico. A Republican, Domenici served six terms in the United States Senate from 1973 to 2009; he is the longest-tenured U.S. senator in the state's history. He was succeeded by Democratic Congressman Tom Udall.
