"Prince Andrew faced humiliation over Fergie's friendship with Texan oil millionaire Steve Wyatt before their separation.
The prince and his wife were about to celebrate the second birthday of younger daughter Eugenie, when Wyatt thumbed his nose at Andrew by taking the duchess on holiday to the Mediterranean.
