I recently seen a taping of All in the Family and Val Bisoglio was in it, as an organized Crime member...I cant explain the impact his acting/character had on me. I love the way he talks and the hand movements his character played...I am hoping to come across more of his films..

Biography

Val Bisoglio (born May 7, 1926 in New York City, New York) is an American character actor primarily known for his work on television. Bisoglio performed in numerous TV series in the 1970s including M*A*S*H,, All in the Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Roll Out, Kojak starring Telly Savalas (beginning with the TV-movie pilot The Marcus-Nelson Murders), Baretta starring Robert Blake, and The Rockford Files starring James Garner. He is probably best known for his recurring role as restaurateur Danny Tovo in the popular series Quincy, M.E.. He also appeared as Murf Lupo in The Sopranos. Bisoglio is also known for his role as Frank Manero Sr., the volatile father of son Tony Manero (John Travolta) in the blockbuster 1977 film Saturday Night Fever.
