Frederick Henry Boland (11 January 1904 – 4 December 1985) was an Irish diplomat who served as the first Irish Ambassador to both the United Kingdom and the United Nations. Boland was married to the painter Frances Kelly and had five children including their daughter, Eavan Boland, who was a leading Irish poet.
