Pav Akhtar is a British Labour Party politician. Among his many and varied jobs he used to work for the trade union UNISON and was councillor for Stockwell in the London Borough of Lambeth. Along with Waheed Alli, Baron Alli, he is one of very few out gay Muslim politicians in the world.
