Steve Colter (born July 24, 1962) is a retired American professional basketball player who was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers in the second round (33rd overall) of the 1984 NBA draft. A 6'3" guard from New Mexico State, Colter played in eight NBA seasons for six different teams. He played for the Trail Blazers, Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers, Washington Bullets, Sacramento Kings and Cleveland Cavaliers.
