Charles Randolph Uncles, SSJ (November 8, 1859 — July 20, 1933), was an African-American Roman Catholic priest, who in 1891 became the first African-American priest ordained in the United States. (The first openly African-American priest to work in the U.S., Augustus Tolton, was ordained in Rome, and the first African-American priests overall, the Healy brothers—who passed for White—were also ordained in Europe.)
