Donald Adam Royal (born May 22, 1966) is a retired American professional basketball player, a 6'8" small forward. He played his collegiate basketball at the University of Notre Dame, and was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the third round (52nd overall pick) of the 1987 NBA draft. Royal played in eight NBA seasons for five different teams: Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs, Orlando Magic, Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets.
