LOS ANGELES -- Actor Clint Eastwood sued the National Enquirer Wednesday for reporting that he was involved in romances with singer Tanya Tucker and actress Sondra Locke at the same time.
Eastwood filed the Superior Court suit, alleging invasion of privacy, asking unspecified general damages and $10 million in punitive damages.
The article was published in the tabloid's April 16 edition, the suit said, under a headline: 'Clint Eastwood in Love Triangle.'
The suit said the Enquirer falsely reported that he and Miss Tucker, 23, former girlfriend of singer Glen Campbell, 'publicly kissed and hugged' during 10 fun-filled romantic evenings together' at Aspen, Colo., in February.
The newspaper identified the third party to the triangle as Miss Locke, Eastwood's co-star in several recent films.
