Gary Shail (Born 10th Nov 1959) is a British Actor, musician and producer.He is probably best known for his role as Spider in the cult classic Quadrophenia (1979) and his role as the punky teenager Steve in LWTs Metal Mickey directed by former Monkee Mickey Dolenz. The show also starred Irene Handl as his naughty Granny. The programme drew huge audiences, probably because it was broadcast on Saturdays at tea time following the Football results.
