Timotea Barbosa Curiel, later known as Timotea Barbosa de Tapia (August 22, 1860 – 1930) was a benefactor to the town of Los Barbosa, Jalisco. She was a matriarch of the Tapia family of the same town. Timotea along with her parents were key to the flourishment of the town of Los Barbosa during the Porfirian period, they donated various necessities for a substantial time. She was also known as Doña Timo.
