Luiza Almeida Needs a Banner!
She is a born amazon. Since she was 2 years old she has riden horses in her family´s farm. She started practicing jumps at the age of six and to correct some flaws she entered a dressage class. The results began to appear and when she turned 12 she devoted herself solely to the sport and it led to the surprising bronze in the 2007 Pan American Games and 2008 Olympics. At 16 she became the Beijing youngest athlete in the Olympic history of equestrian sports.
In 2010, Luiza was invited to join the Brazilian team that will compete in the World Military Games: "I was very excitedand accepted. My biggest passion is to represent my country. My family is honored, especially my grandparents. My friends did not believe when they heard". She rode Samba in China. This time she will ride Pastor in Rio 2011 Games.
