As for 2011 Carlson is married to Mariah Waterfall O’Brien, who was arrested on October 2011 along with him and his mother, Arvina Joyce Carlson, 68, for the alleged fraud (running a ponzi scheme).
“This family conspired to rip off honest investors,” Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones said in a statement following the arrests. “Thankfully, they were apprehended before defrauding additional victims.”
The trio were due in the Los Angeles Municipal Court on December 1.
There was already a trial in Indiana, and the court case was set for July 18th 2012.
